Scenario Cards: Divide pupils into small groups and give each group a “Wealth Mindset” Scenario Card with situations involving spending, saving, or investing choices.

  • Examples:
    • A child who wants to buy a video game but also wants to save for a bike.
    • A child who spends money every time they get it and doesn’t have enough to buy something bigger they want.
  • Group Discussion: Each group discusses what the child in the scenario could do differently to develop a wealth mindset.
  • Presentation: Each group presents their scenario, explains their ideas for a wealth mindset, and shares one positive habit that could help the child save or make wise choices.

The Power of Ideas

Recognize the power within your thoughts, nurture them, and share them with the world. Ideas are the seeds of change, the sparks that ignite progress, and the foundation of all human accomplishment. Ideas, no matter how tiny or revolutionary, have the potential to influence people’s lives, societies, and the globe.

Explain that an idea is any thought, belief, picture, or image formed in the mind. A good idea is the foundation for starting a successful business.

Discuss with the pupils how the power of ideas can influence many things like:

  1. Wealth creation: How children make money on social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat by creating content.

Wealth Worksheet Activity: “My Goals and Habits”

Worksheet Prompt: Ask pupils to set a simple wealth goal (e.g., saving for a specific item) and write down two habits they will practice to reach that goal.

Reflection: Have pupils share their goals if they are comfortable and discuss what it takes to stick with a goal.
